Research Your Health is a multispecialty medical research center located on the Southwest corner of Parker and the North Dallas Parkway.
When Covid-19 struck the U.S., Research Your Health was there, trying to help to find the answers. Our research staff was conducting Covid-19 vaccine studies before there were approved vaccines available for our own investigators and staff. Research Your Health's Medical Director Jeffrey Adelglass, M.D., F.A.C.S. and Director of Operations Waseem Chughtai, B.S., M.B.B.S., CCRC have over 50 years of clinical research leadership between them.
Every member of our medical staff receives study-specific instruction for their assigned study roles and Good Clinical Practice training before they are allowed to work on Research Your Health studies.
Many of our respiratory studies seek paid volunteers over 50 years of age--that's because older adults tend to be more susceptable to respiratory illnesses. Your participation might help to develop a new preventative treatment for others in the community who cannot take part in studies due to health or mobility issues.
One benefit of research study participation is that you will receive study-related medical tests and investigational treatment at no charge. You may also be keeping a daily diary; keeping a regular health diary helps many volunteers become more focused on changes they experience in their day-to-day health.
Sometimes there are obstacles for participants wanting to participate in a study; we may be able to help.
Our volunteers are paid for time and travel. If you do not have your own transportation, we can sometimes help with that as well. Call our center to see if transportation can be arranged to carry you to and from health study appointments.
